Constructed of solid hardwood this platform bed also includes a 14 piece hardwood slat kit making it ready to accommodate most mattresses. Queen & King size beds feature a center support rail and center support feet for added stability.

 Easy Assembly! This innovative bed hook and rail system creates a strong, long lasting connection between the headboard/footboard and bed rails. Two pins are embedded within the head and footboards at both the upper and lower position making it easy to switch from high up for under bed storage drawers or a trundle. Set it low to use with mattress and foundation. The pins have been digitally enhanced to show detail and are in their approximate location within the footboard. Beds, Case goods (Dressers, Nightstands, Mirrors & Chests) & Mattresses are shipped with are shipped with a standard truck line delivery service. Once shipped a tracking number and a phone number are provided so that you may schedule your own delivery. Please note: Mattresses are shipped separate from beds direct from our warehouse and will arrive separately. Beds are delivered unassembled and require only light assembly. Case goods are delivered fully assembled in Styrofoam packaging. All of the Miami case goods drawers glide smoothly on European style metal drawer guides and are constructed from solid hardwood using French (sliding style) dovetail joinery. These storage drawers are available in sets of two and are available as flat panel fronts. Constructed from solid hardwood each features four casters beneath each drawer for smooth operation. Shipped ready to assemble. Available in Espresso finish. Purchasing case goods separate from beds: Please call us at (877) 412-2372 for pricing. There are additional handling costs to shipping these pieces by themselves without being shipped with a bed and there may be a surcharge of up to $50 to do this. Atlantic Furniture prides themselves on using Eco-friendly hardwood. Their hardwood is sourced from the rubber tree. Using these trees is economical and good for the Earth's eco-system and here’s why. After 30 years, a decline in latex production has made only tapping rubber trees for their sap uneconomic. The trees are removed by hand and replaced with new seedlings. In the past, felled rubber trees were either burnt on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive engines, brick firing or latex curing. The wood is now used in the manufacture of high-end furniture. It is valued for its dense grain, stability, attractive color and acceptance of different finishes. It is also prized as an “environmentally friendly” wood, since it makes use of trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing life cycle and are always replaced with new seedlings.
